O presidente do Serviço Pastoral dos Migrantes e bispo de Pesqueira
(PE), Dom José Luiz Ferreira Salles, destaca que para viver com
intensidade a temática proposta pela Semana do Migrante, temos que ter
“diante dos olhos e do coração a atitude do Bom Samaritano que nos
mostra a importância de cuidar da vida mais frágil, em situação de
vulnerabilidade, machucada, abandonada à beira do caminho, e sermos
agraciados com a alegre descoberta de que Cristo está presente neles e
nos diz: ‘Fui estrangeiro e me acolheste’ (Mt 25, 35)”.
